Strengthening Governance Institutions through Education Services in Syria

Objective(s): To improve access, quality and standards of education in moderate opposition controlled areas in Syria. The project supported the building and management of education systems through providing technical assistance and capacity building to education governance entities. Monitoring, evaluation and learning activities explored the extent to which improved education leads to enhanced governance and thus contributes to overall security and stability.

Outcome(s): Integrity’s personnel delivered the project’s internal monitoring and evaluation functions. Our work contributed to the overall improvement of data collection, tracking and sharing across the programme. This facilitated evaluating project contributions relative strategic objectives, aligning and measuring Theories of Change, and proactively adapting DFID’s ongoing programming as challenges and successes are flagged.
