Project Objectives

Provide information and evidence to government decision makers and partners to improve advanced learning programmes in South Sudan.

Project Outputs

Integrity adapted the globally recognised ‘Early Grade Reading & Maths Assessments’ to the South Sudanese context, and programmed the test and student questionnaires onto computer tablets. A 16-person South Sudanese research team trialled the 30-minute assessment with students and teachers across two states. While the World Bank conducted the in-depth analysis of the test and questionnaire results to provide to the Ministry of Education and its development partners, Integrity collated lessons learned from the project to share with a wide range of stakeholders engaged in educational development.
