Launching Integrity’s brand new podcast series

We are excited to share the first three episodes in our brand new Integrity Matters podcast series, Speaking Diplomatically. Hosted by CEO and founder Anthony Ellis, over four weeks our expert team are sharing and discussing approaches for the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) of influencing and diplomacy (I&D) interventions.

In 2025 we have successfully showcased our toolkit for theorising, monitoring, and evaluating in a difficult-to-evidence sector at the UK Evaluation Society conference and in a tailored webinar. Now we are bringing busy audiences the opportunity to dive into this complex topic through four 15-minute episodes.

Episode 3: I came, I saw, I coded: Data science approaches for influencing and diplomacy interventions features Senior Data Science Expert Daisy Smith and MEL Expert Lamia Renaud. They discusses how open-source data can offer valuable nuance to how we approach MEL with this type of intervention, especially when we are interested in understanding the effects of an intervention at a national or international level over time.

Episode 2: The power of suggestion: How to monitor influencing and diplomacy interventions features Niki Wood and Lamia Renaud. In the episode Anthony refers to a visual example of how we combine an outcome diary with self-signification, which you can view here. We use the term ‘self-signification’ in-line with the Voices that Count use and application of it in their SenseMaker work.

Episode 1: Where tact meets theory: Theories of change for influencing and diplomacy, features Integrity MEL experts Niki Wood, Lamia Renaud, and Eleanor Delaney-Stone.

Look out for the final episode in the series:

  • Wednesday 10 December – Building bridges and testing load bearing capacity: Evaluation methods for I&D intervention.
