Integrity’s Design, Monitoring & Evaluation Manager Kathryn Rzeszut and Alexander Mayer-Rieckh, Senior Security & Justice Advisor with Integrity, recently presented their learnings and findings on ‘improving community security and access to justice in active conflict’ at ODI in London.
The discussion was well attended and began with a presentation from Kathryn and Alexander on their findings, followed by the opportunity for an open discussion among attendees.
The presentation covered the rhetoric vs practice of security and justice, its challenges, the characteristics of conflict, the risks of security and justice assistance in conflict, and elements of conflict-sensitive security and justice approaches in conflict environments.
