USAID/Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance Somalia Monitoring and Learning Project II (SMLP II)

Date: 2022 – 2027

Client: USAID/Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance

Project Objectives:

Integrity will delivery Third Party Monitoring (TPM) services and develop a comprehensive learning system, inclusive of an online knowledge management system and special research studies, to support the USAID Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) portfolio in Somalia, with assistance from our partner, Management Systems International (MSI). Our consortium’s combined expertise in MEL, TPM, BHA programming, and Somalia’s complex operating environment will enable us to provide continuous feedback to stakeholders on project progress, support rapid decision making, and facilitate learning. In particular, Integrity will draw upon our experience providing large-scale TPM services to the UK FCDO portfolio in Somalia through the five-year Learning and Monitoring Program Somalia.

BHA is the largest funder of humanitarian assistance in Somalia. Program priorities include agriculture and food security; data collection and management for improved humanitarian coordination; economic recovery and market systems; and emergency health interventions.

More information on BHA’s work in Somalia can be found here: Somalia | Humanitarian Assistance | U.S. Agency for International Development (usaid.gov)
