M&E Framework Design for Voluntary Programme, South Sudan

Date/Duration

2012 – 2013

Project Objectives

Design a monitoring and evaluation framework to allow the organisation to assess how its volunteers are contributing to building the capacities of the government bodies they are working with.

Project Outputs

By interviewing volunteers, partners, staff, beneficiary communities and gathering quantitative data, Integrity analysed how the volunteers were contributing to change. This data was used for reporting to donors, as well as for identifying where the approach could be strengthened. Integrity supported the volunteers themselves to develop awareness of monitoring and evaluation techniques, and provide tools to help them collect data while being deployed in the field. In close cooperation with the operational team, Integrity has been providing real time feedback and recommendations on how the programme could be adjusted. The data is stored in a simple database that is possible for the team to analyse and use in reporting going forward.
