Tom Berliner – Manager, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
Tom is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager at Integrity and is based in London. He manages projects and ensures the delivery of a full-range of research services across Integrity’s thematic and geographic portfolio.
Before joining Integrity, Tom worked for a number of organisations that specialised in or had teams devoted to learning and research for international development. These included the Overseas Development Institute, Agulhas Applied Knowledge and Ipsos MORI. Tom has spent time delivering fieldwork in Myanmar and Vietnam, having lived and worked between the two countries whilst working for Mekong Economics. He is particularly versed in delivering research and learning within the ‘aid space’ for UK government partners having spent a number of years conducting reviews for the UK Independent Commission for Aid Impact. His work has focused on economic development but has also included important research and learning across governance and aid effectiveness.
Tom holds an MSc in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and a BA in Modern History from the University of Nottingham. His Masters thesis focused on the merits and shortcomings of low-cost private school providers in tackling the attainment gap in Indian education.
