Michael Wilkins – Senior Manager, Data and Knowledge Management
Michael is Data and Knowledge Management (DKM) Senior Manger based in London, focusing on providing Data Analytics expertise, as well as supporting Monitoring and Evaluation Learning (MEL) and Business Development.
Michael previously worked as a Humanitarian Affairs Officer at the FCDO, on secondment from Palladium. Previous experience includes working at Save the Children as a Needs Assessment and Information Management Specialist for the Global Education Cluster and prior to that as an Information Analyst for ACAPs, based in Geneva, focusing on the Ebola Crisis. Michael brings experience delivering DKM capabilities in complex environments, including deployments as part of DFID’s surge team for the Hurricane Dorian response and conducting Joint Needs Assessments for the Global Education Cluster’s responses, including the Palau earthquake, Rohingya crisis and Somalia.
His technical skills include designing MEL information management systems, data visualisation, digital data collection technologies and training.He has a Bachelor’s Degree in History and a Masters in Post-War Recovery Studies from the University of York.
