Lucien Begault – Project Officer
Lucien is a Project Officer at Integrity, based in London. He supports the operations, development and delivery of projects across Integrity’s portfolio of work, with a focus on projects based in the DRC, Egypt and Pakistan.
Before joining Integrity, Lucien was working as a Research Intern for the Technology and Human Rights team at Amnesty International in London. Here he was part of the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Project, engaging in research on the use of new technologies at European borders, and the human rights implications of smart city systems. Prior to joining Amnesty, Lucien worked as a parliamentary analyst and freelance writer.
Lucien holds an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from the War Studies Department of King’s College London, and a BSc (Hons) in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath. His MA thesis looked at the social construction of violent extremism through British media narratives.
