Joel Burman – Senior Services Manager
Joel is a Senior Services Manager at Integrity based in London, with a focus on programme management and implementation. Joel is currently working on large multi-country programmes, including support for the Provision of Evaluation and Learning Services to the UK Prosperity Fund.
He has a background in development economics and political economy, focused on poverty reduction and pro-poor growth. Over the past ten years, he has specialised in project and programme implementation and management across diverse developing-country contexts and sectors including economic development, financial regulation, trade negotiation, entrepreneurship and business development, natural resource governance, domestic resource mobilisation, data transparency, climate change and climate finance and judicial sector strengthening. He has worked closely with senior government officials from a wide range of developing countries, focused on project implementation and monitoring. Prior to Integrity, Joel worked for the Commonwealth Secretariat for 6 years delivering long-term technical assistance, and previously with the Revenue Development Foundations on natural resources governance projects in Sierra Leone and the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Zanzibar as an ODI Fellow economist.
Joel has an MSc in Political Economy of Development from SOAS (University of London) and BA in Development Studies from the University of East Anglia.
