Joe Savage – Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

Joe is Integrity’s Head of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) based in London. He has over ten years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, focusing on the design and delivery of MEL systems and the uptake and use of evidence. He has particular interests in mixed method approaches, participatory methodologies, and systems to support learning and adaptation.

Since joining Integrity, Joe has worked on a range of projects including the midterm evaluation of the Somalia Stability Fund (DFID), the provision of Evaluation and Learning Services to the Prosperity Fund (FCO), and the Learning and Monitoring Programme Somalia (DFID).

Before joining Integrity, Joe worked for UNDP in Bangladesh to set up and lead a Research, Evaluation and Learning Unit. He also worked for NGOs in Pakistan, Cambodia and Malawi and on multi-year evaluations in the UK.

Joe has a Masters degree in Social Policy and Planning from the London School of Economics and a Bachelors in Sociology and Social Policy from Trinity College, Dublin.
