Elske Koelman – Business Manager
Elske is a Business Manager at Integrity, based in London. She is responsible for business development, consultant management and marketing functions. Elske has developed successful bids for a range of clients across the Africa and Asia region on a number of thematic areas including health and migration.
Prior to joining Integrity, Elske worked with the Water Integrity Network (WIN) in Berlin, promoting integrity and fighting corruption in the water sector. At WIN, she managed partnerships and enhanced communications on programme results and best practices. Before that, Elske worked in Nairobi for two years with the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), where she strengthened a regional rainwater harvesting network working across Southern and Eastern Africa, mainly through proposal development, partnership management, communications and networking.
Elske holds a MA in Conflict Studies and Human Rights from Utrecht University and a BA in Liberal Arts and Sciences from University College Utrecht, where she studied International Development, International Relations and Modern History. Originally from the Netherlands, Elske has lived and worked in Kenya, Zimbabwe and Germany. Her MA thesis focused on the role women played in pushing for more gender equality during the constitution building process in Zimbabwe.
