Elizabeth Mohan – Senior Services Manager
Elizabeth is a Senior Services Manager at Integrity, based in the Middle East and North Africa region. Elizabeth’s work focuses on supporting the technical design and programme delivery across Integrity’s MENA portfolio, most recently in Iraq.
As a conflict and development specialist, Elizabeth has spent the past five years building, training, and managing in-country research and Monitoring & Evaluation teams for large, multi-donor programmes throughout Syria. These programmes have spanned a variety of thematics, including support to the security and justice sector, local governance and civil society, essential services, and tracking military and political developments. Additionally, Elizabeth co-founded the Syria Conflict Monitor (SCM) in 2012, a research consultancy that used data mining to analyse and map the evolution of Syria’s armed opposition.
Elizabeth has lived and worked in Syria, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, and Morocco. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, and a Masters in Arab Studies, with a concentration in Economic Development, from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service. She is a former Boren Fellow, and also has a Masters in Arabic from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. Elizabeth is also currently a deployable civilian expert (DCE) for the UK’s Stabilisation Unit.
