Ed Small – Senior Expert, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

Ed is a Senior Expert in our Services Team, based in London. He currently supports the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF) Global MEL Partnership (GMEL). In this role, he leads the development of effective M&E frameworks, processes and tools, and supports the CSSF to implement a capacity-building strategy for MEL.

Before joining Integrity, Ed worked at the Institute of Development Studies as part of their Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team. While there, he designed and implemented MEL frameworks for programmes focused on empowerment, accountability, disability inclusion, sanitation and gender justice. Ed created and adapted Theories of Change and logical frameworks in collaboration with partners, was involved in drafting annual reports and impact case studies using contribution analysis and process tracing, and managed programme evaluations.

He holds an MA in Conflict, Security and Development from King’s College London, and a BA in Philosophy and Political Economy from the University of Exeter.
