Diana Thomas – Senior Expert, Communications

Diana is a senior expert at Integrity, based in London. She is currently the knowledge management and communications lead for the consortium providing evaluation and learning services to the UK Prosperity Fund.

Diana has over 20 years experience as an external relations and communications professional in the international development and commercial sectors. She has spent most of her professional life designing, developing and delivering integrated global communications and public affairs strategies for a wide range of development issues. She brings specific expertise in extracting learning from complex, technical sources for sharing across multiple platforms for a wide range of specialist and non-technical audiences. She has particular experience of the global public health context, particularly infectious diseases and sexual and reproductive health sectors. Prior to moving into the development sector, she was a journalist and editor for a range of specialist newspapers and journals covering trade and economic development in East and Southeast Asia, where she lived for 10 years.

She holds a BA in English Literature from Aberystwyth University and an MSc in Social Development Management and Planning, with a focus on gender and micro-finance, from Swansea University. She was an executive board member for the International Broadcasting Trust for eight years.
