Dagania Steinfeld – Business Officer
Dagania is one of Integrity’s Business Officers based in London. She supports the Business Directorate with an emphasis on business development and consultant management.
Prior to joining Integrity, Dagania was a consultant at Maxwell Stamp PLC in the Building Resilient and Inclusive Livelihoods Practice. She was responsible for providing technical support on live projects and leading on the development of bids to clients such as the Department for International Development, the World Bank, and the African Development Bank. Her regional focus was the Asian and African continents, and she has experience in technical issues spanning from refugee issues, market systems development, livelihoods and poverty reduction, women and children’s issues, rural/urban development, education, and social protection. Dagania was previously a researcher at SW Associates, a Washington DC-based international consulting practice that specialises in sustainable solutions for destination development, where she co-authored published articles on smart cities, green technology, tourism development, and women’s economic empowerment.
Dagania has a Masters in Philosophy (MPhil) in Development Studies from the University of Oxford. For her masters thesis, she conducted independent fieldwork in Monrovia, Liberia to explore access to justice for women in the context of a dual legal system. She also has a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Durham University, and her undergraduate dissertation was a comparative analysis of the differential impact of the resource curse on the social, political, and economic development in the Gulf of Guinea in Western Africa and the Persian Gulf.
