Alexandra Tyson-Beer – Business Manager
Alexandra is Integrity’s Business Manager based in London and oversees the management of consultant relationships. She is the primary point of contact for Integrity’s existing and prospective consultants. She brings together teams of consultants to deliver Integrity’s projects globally, and works to ensure that Integrity builds strong and long-lasting relationships with consultants. She also coordinates Integrity’s participation on DFID and EC frameworks.
Before joining Integrity, Alexandra managed programmes for the NGO and private sectors. During her three years at IntoUniversity, an educational charity, she ran the primary schools engagement programme, and established and managed the Hackney Downs Learning Centre in East London. She designed and facilitated national workshop programmes. She managed stakeholder relationships at local and national level, and liaised with delivery partners including Cambridge University and The University of York. Alexandra is an experienced manager of staff and volunteers to deliver programmes to a high, budget-sensitive standard. In Russia, Alexandra conducted qualitative research on racially-motivated violence against the African migrant community, and engaged with the human rights community to lobby the Russian government for policy change. She is also an experienced conference organiser, coordinating events in Moscow, London and New York. Alexandra is interested in governance, state-civil society relations and the role of education in development.
Alexandra holds a BA in International Relations with Honours from the Australian National University and an MA in Governance and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex. Her Masters dissertation examined state-sponsored youth organisations in Russia in the aftermath of Ukraine’s Orange Revolution
