Project objective(s): Support capacity building of the Association for Media Development in South Sudan (AMDISS), to improve the ability of local journalists to respond to crucial issues of human rights, good governance, freedom of expression and democracy.

Project outcome(s): Integrity acted in an advisory and, when needed, in an implementation role to help AMDISS achieve a number of key goals including rebuilding its executive level functionality;revising and editing its strategy and planning documents; regaining its position as a legitimate and natural association and meeting place for the independent media actors in South Sudan; rebuilding its credibility with newspaper editors and increase participation; developing a fundraising strategy and project documents; and designing and launching its website.
